Castle Chocolates offer luxury chocolates handmade daily from their business base in the city of Carlisle.
Located on Fisher Street, this charming family-run chocolate shop ensures the highest quality treats for you and your loved ones. Offering a warm and inviting experience, we urge you to pop into their store, or visit their online shop, and witness the magic this business has to offer.
As Castle Chocolates gear up for the busy Easter period, we spoke to Keith Tattersall whoruns this successful business about the importance of online connectivity to support what they do.
Keith said “Castle Chocolates opened it’s doors in 2019 with the aim of providing high- quality chocolates, made fresh in store to the people of Carlisle and the surrounding fringes of the Lake District. As our business has grown, we now sell our products throughout theUK, which would not be possible without the power of our broadband service”.
“We have a healthy social media following and a strong website which gives customers the option to browse our products and make online purchases.
It is so important for businesses like ours to have an online footprint. We thrive on seeing customers in our shop, nothing beats face to face interaction, but in order for our business to thrive, we are also reliant on the online sales generated by customers near and far. Receiving online orders will always give us a buzz, to think that someone has gone out of their way to find us, choose our products, read our reviews and make a purchase is heartwarming”.
Keith went on “our white, milk, dark and classic collections use traditional chocolate- making techniques and combine old family favourite flavours with modern twists. We bring something really special to the chocolate market and being online provides the opportunity for us to showcase what we have to offer, reaching a much wider customer base than would be possible from our shop alone”.
From a back-office perspective our full fibre broadband service supports a host of tasks from receiving and processing orders, managing communication and the completion of online paperwork requirements. I think we take for granted all that being ‘online’ has to offer in termsof supporting our business and supporting efficient and effective working practices.”
Keith would encourage businesses across Cumbria to look into the increasing variety ofconnectivity options available to them “Cumbria has some amazing businesses offering an array of amazing products; get online and show these off, you never know the benefits and growth this could bring”.
